Standard

[All from “The New Yorker Book of Doctor and Psychiatrist Cartoons,” 1993 — meaning this is old stuff, going back as far as Thurber. But tried and true for whatever ails you.  Is it my age showing, or was everything funnier then?]

    • Glad you enjoyed them. I liked the last one, too. (That’s why I put it there.) But I also very much enjoyed the couch that empties the patient into a hole in the floor when the hour is over — or when the therapist can’t stand it any more!
